our roots, or what I like to call our peats
Where’d Scotchmas start?
Scotchmas started with drunk boys wanting to drink scotch.
As it progressed it became more drunk boys drinking more scotch.
Soon it became drunk men and women drinking scotch and not scotch.
Eventually as the decades progressed as dictators rose and fell it became what it is today, a beautiful excuse regardless of the things going on in our lives, to come together and meet up with friends old and new to continue the camaraderie that has become our wonderful group. Open to all, we champion around this deliciously poisonous liquid once a year as a way to ensure future hangovers…together.
Because that’s what life is about isn’t it? Solidarity.
Cheers.
