Aberlour - A'Bunadh Alba

“As close as you can get to tasting a dram at original cask strength at our distillery.”

A cask strength edition in Aberlour's A'Bunadh range, Alba refers to Quercus Alba, the variety of American white oak used to make the ex-bourbon barrels that this whisky was exclusively matured in. Aromas of peaches and cream, tropical fruits, sweet malt and vanilla fill the nose, complemented by notes of apple and cinnamon pie, tropical fruits, creme Anglaise, autumn leaves and elegant flowers throughout the palate.

The Look: Light Gold

The Aroma: Sweet with apples and pears; Notes of honey and vanilla

The Taste: Citrusy with notes of baked apples and a hint of almonds

The Finish: Smooth and Sweet
